Superior to any BMW dealership, I have nothing but praise for P R and highly recommend it to anyone considering work done or service their BMW… Rob, Phil and team not only are experts in their field, have state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, and offer very competitive pricing, but are also second to none in caring for their customers and specific requests. Their product knowledge is reassuring, as they give clear briefings and advice on things that need doing or can be left till a later date.Being quite familiar how main dealerships work, I’m not surprised seeing exuberant prices they charge. But when it came to my recently acquired BMW E46 I noticed the previous owner had been ripped off by the main dealer, even on “recall” work, and although he had later had the car serviced at a local garage-- and they may have been decent-- I wasn’t sure they had the capability of using the latest diagnostic equipment because of code faults still showing on the panel.I initially took the car back to the main dealer to re-check the “recall”, but without sorting the real problem they messed up with new and other minor items in the process. After complaints, they asked if I could bring the car back. But I decided never to use that dealership again.I consider myself lucky having found P R BMW. During the past couple of years, they’ve sorted out urgent items like door panel lock mechanism, tail lamp rectification, and I’ve gone for Inspection 1, oil service, and inspection 2 services to my full satisfaction.
I went in a few weeks back for a sub frame inspection on my e46 m3. Having not had the car for long i was worried about the re-occuring subframe issue on these m3's and as this was my first m3 i wanted to get this checked out from someone who knew what to look out for.Rob and the team had a thorough check and advised all was well. He was honest in his approach and advised accordingly of potential future issues that could occur but now an issue now. I will be using P&R BMW & Mini Specialists going forward for future work.
Vehicle: BMW 3 series GT, '13 plateProblems: High fan noise from air con & service due.The guys at P&R were courteous & professional, especially Rob on the front counter. They connected my car to the diagnostics & reported back to me the required services, at a very fair price, I estimate I saved £200 vs the main dealer.BMW wanted £99 just to investigate the fan noise. P&R found the issue as part of the service, removing debris from the micro filter housing - at no extra charge.I rarely write reviews, but thought these guys really deserved the praise. Thanks!
Having been backwards and forwards to my local garage regarding ongoing problems with my wife's Mini Cooper I was finally advised by a friend to contact P&R BMW & MINI. From the outset the guys there were different class, and I was immediately reassured by their approachable and friendly service.Their experience, knowledge and professionalism ensured that I was constantly kept up to date with the work being carried out on the car, and the car when returned had never run so well. This was the first time I had used P&R. Rob is a great guy who really knows his stuff. A true specialist in every sense. I left my 730d Msport in his care while I had to go abroad with work. He kept me updated whilst I was away and liaised with the warranty company. His customer service and wealth of experience really reassures you. He is reasonable on price and gives great advise on things that need doing or can be left till a later date. Rob and his team are my go to specialist to look after my BMW!
I would just like to thank Rob and his very skilled team for the excellent service I always receive at this garage . I first discovered this garage when trying to shop around after having received a horrendous quote from a BMW main dealer . Not only was P&R s quote much cheaper but I was very impressed with the great service. Since then I was always taken my car there and always been very pleased . As a lady motorist who has been ripped off in the past , it s nice to know that I have finally found a garage I can trust .Thanks and keep up the good work :-))

I recently brought back my E34 BMW 530i V8 back on the road that was stood in my drive for the last 4 years.Well what can I say Rob and the Team did an excellent job in helping me bring the car back to life so that I could live my youth once again.Rob kept me informed of everything on the car as it transpired that needed doing.As the car was a 1995 model year,it was right up Rob's era as it was where he had learnt the trade back in the day which made me feel really assured with his knowledge and know how on these cars.By the age of the car I informed Rob that I wanted to bring the car back on the road at an economical cost,with this mindset Rob and Team worked their magic into bringing back this old girl back to full form at an Economical cost.I don' know what I would have done with the car had it not been for Rob and his ace Team.Rob completely understood my situation and acted accordingly.After solving the misfire problem I had a full Inspection 2 done and now the car runs like a dream. The smooth sound of the petrol V8 is music to my ears now.I highly recommend P and R to anyone considering having any work done on their cars.The guys really are second to none.Guys like these are very hard to find in these days.They are true gentlemen that really care about Customers and their requests.Well Done Guys.You will always have my custom and support.
I have just received my 2008 Mini Cooper S back from the safe and skillful hands of Rob and his team at P&R, and I have nothing but praise for their engineering prowess, customer service, attention to detail and diligence!I had a problem with coolant entering my engine from an unknown source, which had been diagnosed by a previous garage as being either a head gasket failure or, god forbid, a cracked cylinder head or block - needless to say I was extremely concerned and felt that the mini needed expert care. Having been recommended by a friend to approach P&R, I tentatively left my pride and joy with Rob and embarked on a family holiday. Well, the bottom line is that I had nothing to worry about - the team kept me updated at all times as to the progress of the job, going above and beyond their duty of care (It was being handled by a warranty company), and providing an expert and professional service.It proved to be a head gasket and nothing else nasty - on completion the car was found to have an additional turbo vacuum pump issue - the only reason this was flagged was because of Rob's endless testing of the car, and his knowledge of the marque - this issue was swiftly dealt with, and I am now the owner of a superb Cooper S that performs exactly as it should - I feel that any other garage would have just handed me back the car as it was, glad to be free of it with money in their pocket, ready for a return visit in a couple of months, but no, not P&R - Rob was adamant that the car return in tip top engineering form so that he felt his company had achieved exactly what they had promised........BRAVO! a garage that actually cares - a rare beast indeed!Thank you guys - really appreciated!
After a recommendation from a friend I decided to entrust my pride and joy to P&R and I have no regrets. They have proven to be very honest, friendly and reliable. They have always been able to slot my car in at relatively short notice, complete the work as anticipated, and charge very competitive prices.
